Clients who are staying with others
Client Lives With a Relative
If your client stays with a relative who pays the bills, your client can prove residence by providing proof that 1) he or she is related to the person who lives at that address (using birth certificates, marriage license, obituaries, etc) and 2) the relative pays for bills at that address (such as a lease or taxes or utility bill).
Client lives with a non-relative
If your client is staying with someone other than a relative, he or she will need other proof of residence.
For more ideas about how to prove residence, see the Acceptable Proof of Residence page.
